The Red Bottle store at 343 Pitt St was the 6th store Indigo Design designed for our Red Bottle client.

The sites previous use was a bookshop and the site had heritage constraints. The corner location of Pitt St and Wilmont Lane gave this business excellent exposure to the busy city street. The focus was to maximize this exposure, maintain site lines whilst keeping within The City of Sydney heritage guidelines. Space was at a premium and stock levels needed to be maintained. Considered planning and clever window shelving allowed the ground floor retail to achieve stock levels and maintain site lines into the store whilst ensuring security issues were not overlooked.

The first floor was transformed in to an office and meeting boardroom for Red Bottle staff and management. IDG engaged lighting consultants, Malaya Blonde, to provide lighting design for this project.
